"My Idiot Brother" lifted from the novel by Agnes Davonar the same name. The film tells Angel (Adila Fitr) a 15-year-old teenage girl who can never accept a state of Hendra brother (Ali Mensan) are born with mental retardation. Although Angel was so embarrassed and hated, Hendra never grieve. Hendra be children with special needs due to illness suffered as a child. Nevertheless, he remained faithful to give affection to a younger brother.
Because it has a mentally retarded sister, Angel often teased by his friends 'idiot'. One of the girls at her school named Agnes (Kimberly Ryder) Angel hated being perceived as a threat to get to the heart Aji (Aaron Ashab). Hendra's life with his own world but still fond of his sister. One day, Aji will hold a birthday party by inviting all his friends. Angel Agnes and compete to become the queen of the party. Unfortunately the party ended in an uproar because of the presence of Hendra which makes Angel was so embarrassed, when the arrival of a full brother perjualangan actually only intended to deliver gifts left behind. Angel who fled from the party because of embarrassment an accident. This accident led to no one who is able to save himself other than Hendra. For the love of her sister, Hendra willing to sacrifice everything, including his own life for Angel.
